Hi Folks,
What do you think about Chairing the session when people from your groups are presenting?
I will still manage the zoom licence and recording etc. You'll just be there to perhaps introduce and field questions at the end.
Happy for your thoughts!

Thinking about how to keep WIPs at the forefront of people’s minds is a tricky one but I think we need to promote them in a way that makes them very useful and appealing to people, rather than seeing them as a tick box exercise. Presenting at a WIP early on in the study design process makes it more appealing I think, as people are more open to suggestions and input, as they don’t have approved documentation that cannot be changed at that stage. Also encouraging WIP presenters to think in advance about what they’d really like to get out of the WIP (e.g. where they are stuck/what they would like advice on) and ensuring that the correct people attend the WIP that are able to give this advice and input.
I think perhaps the best way to keep analysis group members aware of WIPs is to mention the WIP opportunity in each weekly analysis group meeting (once they start again). I can do this for a few weeks and see how it goes, then reevaluate. This will at least nudge people on a weekly basis to think about WIPs. If other groups have regular meetings, it might be good for other promotors to try a similar tactic.
