intensity is off (first sample on ray), but use an arbitrary threshold for when blend by intensity is on, to cut through haze. A bit hacky, but seems to work well. GL21 only

open, the context will have changed, and contents of 3d canvas frame buffer no longer available. But we can take advantage of the fact that GLVolumes are actually rendered to an off-screen texture.

- no longer modal, and stays open after files are downloaded, i.e. stays open until user closes dialog window. - Download button disabled unless files are highlighted - "Save full XNAT paths" option to save files into a directory hierarchy that mirrors the XNAT project hierarchy

vector length, so the shader is passed colour-scaled data, and lenghtScale option is used to correct the vector length
