Please use this wiki for hints and notes to help us improve our best practice in open science. We've seeded it with some pages on best practice examplars but please do adapt this page and add your own pages.
WIN Open Science Working Group
The WIN Open Science Working Group is a group of researchers in WIN who are leading the way in adopting open science in WIN. Members of most of the key research groups in WIN are represented in the Working Group.
Our GitLab site will become a small repository of example tasks and other paradigms, to show how task sharing and open imaging can be done in practice. If you have a task or dataset that you'd like to share on the GitLab site, but don't know how, feel free to contact Laurence Hunt. See also the support page on the WIN Intranet written by Duncan Mortimer.
How to report and publish openly
A collection of pages covering best practice for how to report and publish your data openly, put together by Verena Heise. It covers issues such as preparing your manuscript, preprints, University of Oxford open access requirements.
Community best practice
In no particular order, these are exemplars of best practice in the world community as identified in interviews with WIN group leaders over the last few weeks (thanks Lars!).
