fsl-devel.sh should activate conda environment
For official FSL installations, the $FSLDIR/etc/fslconf/fsl-devel.sh
script should activate the $FSLDIR
conda environment, so that the conda compiler toolchain is available in the user's environment.
This could be done simply by checking whether $FSLDIR/../.fslconda/
exists (the default location for the FSL conda base environment), or (possibly better) by having the fsl/installer
somehow "stamp" an official FSL installation. Perhaps the installer could create a file, e.g. $FSLDIR/share/fsl/base_environment
which contains the location of the base conda environment.
Then fsl-devel.sh
could check for its existence, and run e.g. source $(cat $FSLDIR/share/fsl/base_environment)/bin/activate $FSLDIR
