SPMIC-UoN/xtract_data/ github repository history is corrupt
The xtract_data files were originally hosted at https://git.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/xtract_data/.
When Stam and his group moved to Nottingham, they migrated to github, so the files are now hosted at https://github.com/SPMIC-UoN/xtract_data/.
However, there appears to be some issues with the manner in which the github repository was created - it seems to have been created from a snapshot, so all of the commit history up to the point of its creation has been lost.
Most of the historical tags do seem to have been preserved, but they refer to orphaned commits.
This would not be a major problem if it weren't for the fact that the original gitlab repository was configured to use LFS. But the github repository contains the actual binary files, and the .gitattributes
file has been removed.
This issue causes conda build
to crash when cloning the repository - it seems to want to fetch LFS content for all commits in the repository. I have addressed this for the time being by setting the git_depth: 1
setting in meta.yaml
.
