Automatically enable override data range for images with silly values
When running over SSH/X11, or on platforms with old GL drivers, image data cannot be stored on the GPU as floating point. So floating point images need to be converted to uint16 and rescaled accordingly. This is problematic for images with extremely large outlier values. So for images like this, the user needs to set the override data range to force the image data to be rescaled sensibly.
Perhaps this can be automatically enabled, if:
- Running on a platform that does not support floating point textures, and
- A floating point image with a silly data range has been loaded.
